TREASURES KREWE DONATES TO AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

The Mardi Gras Krewe Treasures of the Isle presented a check for $300 to the American Cancer Society at the Orange Beach Sportsplex as krewe members took part in the Relay for Life event. The Mardi Gras Krewe Treasures of the Isle Presents:
The Annual Community Yard Sale and Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. at the Orange Beach Sportsplex on Canal Road. Admission is free.
Lots of food and fun for the whole family is being planned. The huge yard sale offers a great opportunity to Spring clean your attic and create your own stimulus check in the process! In addition local artists and craftsmen will be displaying and selling their works.
Food booths will be available and include German sausages, corn dogs, nachos and fresh strawberry shortcakes. Proceeds from the festival, co-sponsored by Treasures of the Isle and Orange Beach Parks and Recreation Department, will benefit Orange Beach Youth Programs and local charities in Baldwin County.
