The Mardi Gras Krewe Treasures of the Isle has presented a check to the Baldwin County Community Hospice.
Pictured from the left is Gloria Bridges, President of Treasures of the Isle, Dr. Dan Scarborough, and Gerry Stiffler. The donation was at the silver level and is for the Fifth Annual Art, Wine and Cheese Gala to be held at Craft Farms in the clubhouse on Thursday, October 1st at 5 PM. Tickets for the Gala may be purchased and donations made by calling Lana Wheeler at 943-5015. Many well known artist and galleries are also contributing to make the silent and live auctions that evening a success.

The Mardi Gras Krewe, Treasures of the Isle, recently donated their cookbook for placement in the Orange Beach time capsule. Shown here making the presentation, from the left, are Ron Fowinkle, Cheryl Lanning, Ralph Elders, Iris Ethridge of the Orange Beach Fishing Association, Gloria Bridges, and Bayne Bridges. The time capsule is being prepared by the Orange Beach Fishing Association for The City of Orange Beach. The city is celebrating it’s 25th birthday this year and the Fishing Association it’s 35th birthday. Donations for the time capsule can be made by calling 981-2300 and items will be accepted from all aspects of life in Orange Beach. The cookbook is a collection of favorite recipes by the Treasures of the Isle krewe and can be ordered by calling 981-2227.
