Member Terry Fowinkle makes donation to Christian Service Center on behalf of the Orange Beach Mardi Gras Krewe Treasures of the Isle

The Mardi Gras Krewe, Treasures of the Isle, recently donated $400 to the Christian Service Center at their headquarters in Gulf Shores. Pictured here on the left is Terry Fowinkle of the Treasures of the Isle Krewe presenting the check to Linda Chapelle, Director, Christian Service Center.

Treasures of the Isle was founded on the principal of giving back to the community with charitable endeavors while enjoying the fun of Mardi Gras and fellowship with friends.  The Krewe membership includes men and women, married and single. Other recent charitable donations have included the Gulf Coast Zoo, American Cancer Society, and Baldwin County Community Hospice.

TOI King and Queen 2009 300x225 Treasures of the Isle Mardi Gras Krewe King and Queen for 2009 2010The Treasures of the Isle Mardi Gras Krewe is proud to announce their King and Queen for 2009-2010. King Phillip Baker and Queen Anne Mitchell will reign over 2009-2010 events including the Treasures of the Isle Ball, January 30, 2010, and the Parade, Mardi Gras Day, February 16, 2010. Treasures of the Isle was founded on the principal of giving back to the community with charitable endeavors while enjoying the fun of Mardi Gras and fellowship with friends. The Krewe membership includes men and women, married and single. Charitable donations this year have included the Christian Service Center, the American Cancer Society and the Orange Beach Park and Recreation Department.
